Nancy Brigham

Nancy Brigham is a web designer, web programmer, writer, and life-long activist in progressive causes.

She worked 25 years for the United Auto Workers union, where she ran a press organization, wrote and edited pubications, trained activists in communications skills, and launched the UAW web site. She served as webmaster for five years, before leaving the UAW to earn a master's degree in 2002 from the University of Michigan School of Information. Brigham now works with labor and other groups, in both the U.S. and Mexico, consulting around communications strategies and skills, and designing databases and web sites. She is active in local political and cultural causes and the National Writers Union (UAW Local 1981), and serves on board of the Southeastern Michigan chapter of the ACLU. Brigham struggles to maintain a working knowledge of both French and Spanish.

Brigham was elected to the CPSR Board in 2004, and currently chairs the Web Committee.
