CPSR/Berkeley, California
We last met on April 21, 2002 to meet the folks from CPSR's Privaterra Project.
The Berkeley chapter is one of the largest of CPSR chapters. In 1997, we hosted the CPSR annual meeting which brought together interested folks from CPSR and from the local community.
The Peace and Freedom Working Group of the Berkeley chapter published the Computer and Information Technologies Platform in 1992. Another chapter working group, Bay Area Women In Telecomm (BAWIT), sponsored panel discussions on gender issues in online communities.
