UCITA?

Let's start with a definition.

UCITA is the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act. It will govern all contracts for the development, sale, licensing, support, and maintenance of computer software and most other types of data that are stored or transmitted electronically. Manufacturers of some other products, such as computers, can also choose UCITA as the law governing their sales.
