If you are planning to attend the conference you might consider reserving your accommodations as soon as possible. [The registration form will be available shortly.] The conference takes place during shopping season in the city and hotels do not block out groups of rooms during this time. Here's a small hotel in Greenwich Village that reportedly has good reviews from Scandinavians:
