Volunteering

PDC04 is looking for student volunteers to help run the conference. Areas include preparing registration materials, setting up rooms and signage, assisting speakers, providing technical support, serving at the registration/information desk, supervising catering, etc.

If you are interested please contact pdc04@kmdi.utoronto.ca

In your email please which area(s) you would like to help out in.

Registration fees will be waived for students who volunteer. Volunteers will still receive one copy of each volume of the proceedings, normally included in the registration fee. Attendance at the conference will be free, but fees for pre-conference tutorials and workshops and the conference banquet still apply.

Volunteers must register for the conference. Go to the registration page and fill out the online registration form. Indicate "Student volunteer" on the form.

PDC04 has also made arrangements for students to book affordable
accommodations while attending the conference. Go to Travel and Accommodations for information on the New College student residence at U of T.
