Nancy Brigham is a web designer, web programmer, writer, and life-long activist in progressive causes.

She worked 25 years for the United Auto Workers union, where she ran a press organization, wrote and edited pubications, trained activists in communications skills, and launched the UAW web site. Brigham now works with labor and other groups, in both the U.S. and Mexico, consulting around communications strategies and skills, and designing databases and web sites. She is active in local political and cultural causes and the National Writers Union (UAW Local 1981), and serves on board of the Southeastern Michigan chapter of the ACLU. Brigham struggles to maintain a working knowledge of both French and Spanish.

Why did you join CPSR?

CPSR seems to be the more important association for me - certainly it concentrates more on the issues that matter to me than the mainstream professional bodies
