Advisor for the Computer Fear Film Festival (CF3), for Alpha Omega Epsilon, a social and professional engineering sorority, and for the UIUC programming team that competed in the 27th Annual ACM-ICPC World Finals, and the UIUC team that will compete in Prague in 2004.
Former Chair, CPSR, Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility, Faculty member of the International Women's University (ifu)

Why did you join CPSR?

I support critical thinking--including ethical issues--when it comes to decisions about the use of technology. I want more people to have access to learn about technology. I would like to see resources go into finding and implementing technologies that provide the most public good.
