Volunteer for the CPSR Annual Conference

Students and others are encouraged to volunteer to help make the conference a success. Volunteers are still needed in the following areas:

  • Putting up (and taking down) posters around UM and other campuses

  • Working at the registration table on Saturday

  • Setting up (and cleaning up) foods for the conference breaks.

  • Setting up (and dismantling) the rooms to be used for the conference.

  • Preparing for (and after) the Wiener dinner Saturday night.

  • Shuttling people to (and from) the airport or train stations

  • And anything else that needs doing

In addition to the warm glow that comes from knowing you're working for the best of causes, volunteers can also expect the following additional benefits:

  • A free conference t-shirt. (Be the envy of all your friends!)

  • Reduced conference admission (exact details are being settled, but students will get free access to the conference).

  • The chance to rub elbows with some of the leading thinkers and activists working on the emerging social issues of the digital era.

Volunteering is easy! Just send a brief email to Terry Gliedt <>.

Come join the others who've gratiously offered their time and talents.
